WHAT WE HAVE DONE FOR OUR CLIENTS

CLEAN ENERGY

  • Advised LanzaTech, a leading second generation bioethanol producer, on commercial strategy, Chinese international pilot plant development, governance and organisational structure and partnership arrangements.
  • Advised Biodiesel Oils (NZ) on its commercialisation strategy, including protecting intellectual property that can be patented, scoping the international market, assessment of competing technologies globally and identifying strategic partners

ELECTRICITY

  • Undertook for WEL Networks a review of both North and South Island business development opportunities, identifying major planned residential, commercial and industrial property developments within a commercially feasible connection distance of the national grid. The work identified a number of significant network expansion opportunities for WEL and also provided a framework for prioritising development. 

CLEAN ENERGY

  • Advised Energy for Industry, a subsidiary of Meridian Energy, on the potential acquisition of a Crown-owned thermal power plant. 
  • Advised a leading NZ organic waste company on producing heat, power and fertiliser products through anaerobic digestion of food and green waste. Work included a review of international technology suppliers, financial modelling of the proposed plant and establishing a strategic partnership with a local electricity company.
